FAQ's
Where do you do get most of your pictures?
............I live in New England, so many of my images are from this region but I do enjoy capturing different views when I travel. The site also contains images from Florida and Canada.
Do you shoot film or digital?
............I now shoot digital 100%. I still love film and both genres are represented here.
Where do you find such nice locations?
............Everywhere. You only have to look for the images as they don't normally appear by themselves. Even your backyard is full of beautiful pictures, if you will only take the time to look for them.
What is your favorite time of the year for taking pictures?
............January through December. Actually, I prefer the Summer and Fall seasons the best. It's just more comfortable to shoot outdoors at that time but some of my favorite images were taken when the weather was bad.
............If I wake up and see fog, I go right out looking for a good subject.
What advice do you have for the budding photographer?
............Move in close to your subject and shoot from many angles. This will train your eye to see the important part of your subject and leave out the extraneous and it will show you that there are different ways to look at everything. And most important: Watch the light.
